Each course consists of a minimum of 20 hours of participation.
Fee for Participation: $175.00. (Payment is required prior to services.) The fee includes the life skills workbook that will be used in the applicable class.
Anger Management
The objective of this course is to help participants overcome the root causes of anger, abuse and domestic violence. By challenging self-defeating thoughts and behaviors, the course focuses on self-deception, justification and resistant behaviors.
The course covers a variety of concepts, to include:
- Positive vs Negative Behaviors
- The Subconscious Mind
- Human Needs
- Anger avoidance and consequences to negative behaviors
- Understanding behaviors, emotions and feelings
- How to Influence Change
- Role playing, skill building and motivational interviewing are incorporated into a group setting
Theft and Shoplifting
The objective of this course is to challenge faulty thinking errors and self-defeating behaviors associated with retail and other forms of theft.
The course covers a variety of concepts, to include:
- Reasons people shoplift and/or take things that do not belong to them
- Closure and choosing to do the right thing
- Role playing, skill building and motivational interviewing are incorporated into the group setting
Parenting
The objective of this course is to help parents become more aware of the long-term subconscious programming they instill in their children. Parenting is never easy; however, there are “powerful” cognitive steps that can be taken, having the greatest impact on child and parent relationships.
The course covers a variety of concepts, to include:
- Hierarchy of needs for children
- Families
- Making choices
- Discipline
- Intervention
- Relationships
- How to Influence Life Changes
- Role playing, skill building and motivational interviewing are incorporated into a group setting
Employment
The course objective is to help offenders overcome self-defeating thoughts and behaviors. The course is designed to help individuals identify and change the root causes of their employment issues. If we never change problem thinking we can never change the problem behavior.
The course covers a variety of concepts, to include:
- Correcting problem behavior
- Growth verses Decay
- Thinking Skills
- Opportunities for Employment
- Working toward success through determination, endurance and assurance
- Human Needs
- Overcoming Obstacles
- Role playing, skill building and motivational interviewing are incorporated in the group setting
